Dear friends: A brief health note
People have been asking how I am doing and what is happening in my body. My reply has been: everything is fine, I have my strength back, I walk each day at least 30 minutes often 40, as church is 20 min. away and when the weather is reasonable I go walking.
In the night of Good Friday / Saturday at 01.15 I was woken up because of some chest pain. I checked my heartbeat and that was rather irregular. I took the medicines that the MD had given “in case”. I developed a pain in my right arm and I called the Weekend MD Services. They decided to picked me up and took me to the hospital. In the hospital the pain in my right arm came back. They checked my blood to see if there was heart damage. It was “borderline”. So they took it three hours later again. Then it was normal. My heartbeat had also turned normal and they released me…

Grateful I came home and I went to church again this morning. So we will have to see if this was a one-time event or if it happens more frequently.
I felt assured and carried by the Lord, naturally I prayed and asked Him that His peace would influence my heart-beat and keep it regular.
I have still one month before I go anywhere so I try to keep it easy until then.
Appreciating your prayers, as I still have so many plans…it is no time for me yet to retire, but that is in the hands of our Lord.
It is so good to know that The Lord is with us, if we feel that or not!
