An update on my health situation: Dear friends and prayer supporters,
Thank you for your interest you have shown in my life.
I need to update you on my health.
After a great weekend in Iceland Feb.1-6 (I worked way too long. hours…) my health started to deteriorate..I think I went too quick to Austria (23rd of Febr- 17 March) and since then I have had heart-problems (irregular heart beat, hernia like problems).
I was twice admitted to the hospital and they discovered that I was allergic to the heart-medicine that should calm it down.
Now I have an other one and that one seems fine.
The hernia (I saw yesterday the specialist, finally after 3 weeks of waiting), and today I got an MRI.
I have an appointment on the 17th of May to hear what they plan to do. She said most likely it will be a pain block and we will see what can be done more).
I cancelled now my appointments in Austria ( I was scheduled to leave next Tuesday, return the 12th of June)) including a trip to Bosnia (2-6 June).
My first planned teaching is in YWAM 18-23 June in Switzerland.
I need to take time to recover, as the hernia pain makes me very tired. The good news is that I am able to rejoice in the Lord, get a newer, deeper relationship with Him, I am satisfied and don´t mind that I have no spiritual outreach except prayer and reading about Him and His work :).
I have also chatted now several times with my neighbour… He doesn´t think about yesterday and tomorrow, only today…
I am scheduled to come to Iceland again Sept.25th until Oct.9. I hope to work then less intense.
When you think of me, then simply ask the Lord that His Plan in my life, His will, be done: I am reading a book by Bishop Barron: “To Light a Fire on the Earth“. He states that as every person has a unique fingerprint, so every person has an unique calling by the Creator. He make me question again what my calling is now, in this last leg of my life here on earth.
